Mysore community is situated in the state of Karnataka in KRS (Krishna Raja Sagara), in Mandya district,  belongs¸ to the diocese of Mysore, in Hulikere parish. Our journey in this community began with the blessings and grace of God on 3rd June 2017.  

Goal

Our goal is to provide a human, cultural, spiritual and pastoral preparation of the postulants with a special attention to lead them to wholeness through the Charism of St. Dominic and Blessed Marie Poussepin.

Formation is a dynamic process of the transformation of our being, according to the mind and heart of Christ. It means to let the Spirit conform us to Him. It is process of growth in Him.

Mission

Called by the Lord, we announce Jesus Christ by the testimony of our life and service to humanity. 

• Formation of Postulants is the priority of our community to foster their vocation, their desire to follow Christ. We accept the young formees in today’s context and provide ample opportunities to discover themselves and to witness community life, prayer life and mission. 
• We foster the faith of the laity through liturgical animation, faith formation classes, youth ministry, family visit and Eucharistic adoration on Friday in the community for the faithful. We collaborate with the parish, respect and welcome the richness of the laity in order to encourage them to participate in the parish activities actively.
• Through our hospitality and prayerful support, we are open to welcome and listen to the joys and struggles of our non catholic friends around us.
• We respond to covid - 19 situation by: praying one hour daily, looking for the possibility for job opportunities for the people, sharing the fruit of our work from the property and spending time to listen to their pain and struggle to give comfort, courage and hope.
