The media is God’s wonderful gift to humanity with many possibilities. “The Catholic Church and all people of goodwill see great potential in social media when the "net" and "networks" bring people together, help them share useful information and educate one another”. (Pope Francis, 24 Jan., 2019) To promote awareness and to motivate the correct use of Social Means of Communication throughout the Province, SMC commission is trying to help through various means and resources, a process of motivation and awareness on the urgency for the use of the Means of Communication in our evangelizing Mission, so that the Lord’s message may be, experienced, shared and heard by all. This will help us to inform, to share and to bring dynamism into our mission of Evangelization for the men and women of today. Thus, to break down the dividing walls of hostility and build up the communion of love. 

Goal

To create an opportunity for dialogue of the encounter of Christ through Social Means of Communication for Evangelization 

Objectives

• To promote and motivate, to develop the communication skills, reading and the importance of study in the Dominican life. 

• To avail the opportunity to share the encounter of Christ and inspire others in the love of Christ. 

• To educate, inform on the relevant issues of the Province, Congregation, Church and the world at large.
